Louis graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Degree in Kinesiology and an Honours Degree in Psychology, specializing in Cognitive Neuroscience. He received a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto.
Louis has received training through the University of Florida in Life Care Planning and the Cost of Future Care. He is a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner, certified through the ICHCC (International Commission on Health Care Certification). He has received training in the Evaluation of Impairment and Disability according to the American Medical Association 4th, 5th, and 6th Edition Guidelines. He is certified in the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment according to the AMA Guides 4th Edition. Louis holds additional certifications in ARCON Evaluation (for Functional Capacity Evaluations), Progressive Goal Attainment Program (3rd Edition), the Árnadóttir OT-ADL Neurobehavioral Evaluation, and Cogmed Working Memory.
He has additional post-graduate training in ABI, ergonomics, return to work, NDT, chronic pain management and neuro-rehabilitation and has presented and published material in the fields of occupational therapy, case management and rehabilitation.
Stephanie graduated from York University with an Honours Degree in Psychology and completed a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto.
She has clinical experience working in acute/stroke care in the hospital environment, a mixed population through CCAC, as well as private practice.
Stephanie has taken post-graduate courses and workshops in functional cognitive assessment and treatment. She regularly attends courses, seminars and conferences to update her skills and expertise in assessment, rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention. She has received training through the University of Florida in Life Care Planning. His educational background consists of a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology (Pre-Health Option) from the University of Waterloo and a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has attained experience working with spinal cord injury, rheumatology, acquired brain injury, orthopaedics, geriatrics, return-to-work rehabilitation as well as other areas. He regularly attends courses, seminars and conferences to update his skills and expertise in assessment, rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention. He is also a certified functional capacity evaluator.
He has received training in the Evaluation of Impairment and Disability according to the American Medical Association 4th and 6th Edition Guidelines. He is certified in the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment according to the AMA Guides 4th Edition. He has also received training and is certified in the assessment of Catastrophic Impairment by the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators.
His educational background includes a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Toronto. He has completed 7 hours of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training and CPR/AED Level C. He has taken several post-graduate courses and workshops including: Concussion Management Workshop (Concussion Rehab Works, Level 1), Parkwoods Points Pacing System, biweekly Webinars conducted by Canadian Concussion Centre.
He also has an on-going involvement in research initiatives in areas of implicit therapeutic modalities at McMaster University.
He is in good standing with COTO and his professional affiliations with OSOT.
Throughout his academic and professional career, he has worked with individuals in hospital settings, and community settings in areas of cardiology, vascular disease, general medicine, community care and mental health.
Outside of work, he is an avid Toronto sports fan (Leafs, Raps, Jays). He also enjoys painting and spending time with his family.
Her educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Ryerson University and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Toronto. She also has post-graduate certifications in dementia care (GPA certified) and has an on-going involvement in research initiatives in areas of traumatic brain injury at University of Toronto. She is in good standing with COTO and her professional affiliations with OSOT.
Throughout her academic and professional career, she has worked with individuals in hospital settings, rehabilitation and community outreach programs in areas of stroke, chronic disease self-management, falls prevention and mental health. She also has experience in disability case management and facilitating safe return to work.
She graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and completed a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University.
Throughout her academic and professional career she has attained experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals with physical, neurological, psychological and cognitive impairments. She has worked with individuals with a wide range of diagnoses from developmental delay, to acquired brain injury, stroke, chronic pain, and orthopedic injuries. She engages in a variety of experiences complementing her enjoyment of continued learning, and practicing community health. She regularly attends courses, seminars and conferences to update her skills and expertise in assessment, rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention.
Her personal interests include mentorship, dance, and baking treats.
Throughout her academic and professional career, Margaret has worked with individuals in hospital settings, rehabilitation and community outreach programs in areas of acquired brain injury, mental health, musculoskeletal injury, and chronic pain. She has taken post-graduate courses in cognitive behaviour therapy, as well as workshops and webinars in traumatic brain injury, creating graduated return to work plans, principles of pressure relieving surfaces, fall prevention, patient moving and handling, and engaging clients with chronic pain. She is a certified Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) provider and has also obtained certification in Functional Abilities Evaluations and Cognitive Functional Capacity Evaluations. She regularly attends courses, seminars and conferences to update her skills and expertise in assessment, rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention.
She graduated from Western University with an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with a minor in psychology. She completed her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto.
Marta has attained academic and professional career experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals with physical, neurological, psychological, and cognitive impairment.
She has worked with many diverse client populations including seniors, individuals with mental health issues, Alzheimer’s/dementia, developmental delay, chronic pain, and orthopedic surgery/injury. She has experience in both acute care and community care settings.
Marta is keen to learn new skills and is always looking for opportunities to expand her knowledge set. She regularly attends professional development sessions.
In her spare time, Marta enjoys fishing, hiking, quilting, and baking.
She graduated from York University with an Honours Specialization Degree in Psychology. She continued her education at the University of Toronto where she completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy.
She has inpatient clinical and community experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals with physical, neurological, psychological and cognitive impairments.
She has attended conferences and seminars regarding hand therapy, complex shoulder injuries, burn rehabilitation, and acquired brain injury.
Elvis graduated from York University with Psychology and Educational training. He began his career working in government as a Social Service Worker, but has since enthusiastically remaned on the front lines providing support therapy to disabled individuals in his care.
Elvis prides himself on building strong rapport and empathetic relationship with the individuals that he serves. To this extent, his is always focus on seeing the person first and not the disability. Also pivotal to his approach is his passion for advocacy. He strongly believes that success in assisting disabled individuals will often come about through dedicated community (family, other service providers, government) involvement.
As part of this advocacy, Elvis has maintained an active presents on social media, sharing his insights on the challenges and inspirations of disability in our world. He welcomes all interested individuals to join in such conversation on the various disability forums that he regularly participates on.
Emma completed her post secondary education at Confederation College of Applied Arts Institute. She completed the Social Services Worker program and graduated at the top of her class in 2010.
She has since worked in many different human services positions; within many different roles. Some of these roles have included Adult and Youth Mental Health Worker, Addictions Worker, Rehabilitation Worker for persons with Acquired Brain Injuries, and Developmental Service Worker.
She has extended training and experience in the areas of Mental Health, Addictions, and Crisis Intervention.
Emma Hadwen is a Rehabilitation Support Worker with the Total Health Care Solutions team. She assists our clientele with all aspects of their recovery. This may include, but is not limited to; assisting with teaching life skills, supporting activities of daily living, community engagement, implementing appropriate supports required, or, readjusting to life post injury.
She believes in meeting people “where they are at” as well as establishing supports that foster independence and purpose.
Emma enjoys every role she has had the pleasure of working in. Creating a diverse portfolio of tools and knowledge through her roles and experiences to provide individualized care to each individual she serves.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, music and spending time with her family.

Since then she has worked for over a decade in many roles, some of which include; Behavioral Therapist, Rehabilitation worker, Adult and Youth Mental Health and Addictions Worker, Residential Counsellor, and Case Management. She is dedicated to aiding people in realizing their full potential. She has provided services in school settings, hospitals, residential care, youth justice organizations, various social service agencies, and within the community. She has significant experience working with people navigating a wide range of life experiences. Some examples include strengthening their social connections and helping others feel a sense of belonging to overcome or manage their personal, social, or psychological effects of disabilities on employment or independent living.
Jennifer is passionate about helping others to reach their goals by providing a safe and dedicated space. Seeing others benefit from her support has been truly rewarding.
Outside of work Jennifer enjoys camping, fishing with her son, and partner, watching and playing sports, spending time with her family, and her dog Lola, volunteering on her daughter's hockey team, and enjoys being a hockey Mom.
Kimberly earned her BSc degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at Wilfrid Laurier University with focus on cognitive and behavioural neurosciences. Then she went on to graduate from the Brain Disorders Management program at Mohawk College where she learned to apply her knowledge of neurological conditions to community based work. From there, she has gained experience working with many non-profit organizations such as the Head Injury Rehabilitation of Ontario, Hamilton Alzheimer's Society, and March of Dimes Canada. She was involved with many of those that have various types of neurological disorders (e.g., cerebral palsy, stroke survivors, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, etc.) and helped them with their rehabilitation journey and overall well-being.
Kimberly takes great pride in her ability and desire to help those that she can and is more than happy to provide that help as her career.
Outside of her work, she can be found eating, reading or playing with her dog and sometimes all three. She would identify herself as an extrovert and loves to meet new people. She has a case of wanderlust and desires to travel around the world whenever she gets the opportunity as well. Also, she is someone who loves to learn so if you ever get the chance to meet, don't mind sharing an interesting fact with her!
